Who Qualifies for TTATT?

when i first learn ttatt i started telling every one.

ttatt will not help him, it will destroy him.

all his family are jws.

I side with John, some people are better left alone. ive and let live. I'm still BELEIVER AND PRAYED TO Jehovah to show me TTATT, I wanted to see if with my own eyes. This very act gave me courage to research without guilt and put the pieces of the puzzle together. Most of my bible based beleifs are intact, AWAY from any organization.

I've always leaned towards non conformity and freedom is very dear to me. I study an research more than ever now that I'm out. Trying to keep up with the WT reading was basically just busy work standing in the same place and not progressing in knowledge.

Wow Magnum, just wow. I feel for you man I know where you are coming from. Was labeled a workaholic early on when in. I stuck around just long enough to do damage myself, took years to get back in the drivers seat after I stopped. Went back on and off a few times to test the waters, if anything it has gotten waaay more cultish now than ever. I'm out but still a believer I do my own study on my own time table. Yeah ditto there going to have problems with all their spending money like it's water...

i know it's not easy for you to walk it's a big decision, family and etc.. if you are afraid consider this.

i have been here for a few years and i can count on one hand from posters who made the statement, i can't take it anymore, i'm going back.. what is it that members here have given up their family and friends to be free.

is it so we can have sinful fun, we are our own person and no one will tell us what to do?.

I'm pretty much the same in or out, searching for truth. I have known some that were DF'ed and believe me it was one big party all the while they were out with some crazy unbelievable behavior. One guy I knew at the time ( now back in full on reaching out born in cult mode ) accused me of being weird borderline gay for not frequenting the strip clubs. There are lots of good people with values and morals out there, just not as noticeable as those that don't.

i am still serving as an elder but just hanging in there.

i think their quandry is that they don't see me out in the field, but when they need encouragement and decent prayer they come to me.. i just got off the phone to this poor sister who i have only met twice.

she is not even in my congregation (her sister is).

I also focussed on just being a kind and caring appointed man...someone people could just talk to and feel supported.

I was blatantly told by elders that I was being "permissive and an apologist" by not enforcing the strict regurgitated society responses....

I focussed on helping people build their self esteem and confidence.

It became impossible to continue to fade while still remaining appointed and having to play the games....

The FEAR, OBLIGATION and GUILT, that the organisation binds on the shoulders of the flock is deplorable. It is certainly NOT kindly as Jesus recommended.

Read something earlier today and the societies equivalent of trinity is dedication doctrine. Is cause for competition between brothers and the harmful judgment that goes along with it. Are you living up to your dedication ? Never sat right with me now I know why, it's blatantly bogus. For those that still believe it's about baptism and not 'dedication' which is not even found in the bible. As the author put it it has to be argued in just like the trinity.

Latest rumor - all WT construction "suspended", except for Warwick

heard 4th-hand, but from a full-on believer, so not likely to be an "apostate lie":.

apparently, at bethel's morning worship this morning, it was announced that all worldwide wts construction is "suspended" for an indefinite time, except for the new world headquarters at warwick.. also, the "relocation" of remote translating teams is also suspended.. finally, there will be a "worldwide" reduction in bethel personnel.. all this came to me in a non-english language, and,as noted, 4th-hand.

so it is possible something may have been lost in translation and/or in the multiple steps between bethel morning worship & me.. but if true, it would be quite stunning.

I think I read that story... it was an eye-opener, yet unsurprising at the same time.

I think it came from Randy's Freeminds the Bethel Chronicles. If I recall a brother that founded a graphics ware company had designed an airbrush that held patents etc. Pretty sharp guy and good businessman. When the higher ups at Bethel keyed in to what he could offer he was invited there and given a tour as well as a few weeks room and board to set up the art department with his latest airbrush kits, all donated free of charge to the society's in house art dept. He also made it a point to tell one of the heavies there that his department was mostly filled my incompetents and that there was in fighting, no team spirit and would not be tolerated in the real world. He then got the standard they are appointed on spiritual qualities not know how or ability..

Was there that I read out about a piece of equipment that was worth a few hundred grand ( like 1/2 to 3/4M ) and no one knew how to operate it. Interesting read, really opened my eyes to what I had been suspecting.

Are the GB very intelligent men with higher than average IQ? Or are they stupid men who were put in their position by sheer “LUCK”

are the governing body of the wt wickedly smart with extremely high iq or are they leaders of the wt because they were at the right place at the right time.

(in other words, pure luck )-think lottery.

ive seen them talk in jwtv and you can never convince anyone in the whole world that these guys are in the same category as someone smart or cunning like jim simons who founded renaissance technologies or bill gates.

For most of the WT history someone on the GB had a very active roll in producing content. Russel, Rutherford, Fred Franz, Ray Franz were all prolific writers of propaganda content.

I am not aware of any GB members today who are as actively involved in producing content and a primary reason for the recycled food and dumb down content IMO.

For this reason I say they are dumber then previous members.

For what they lack in writing ability and producing new spiritual content, they more than make up for in shrewedness.

Totally agree GB1 had some respectability, as in Grandfatherly. The new bunch are like used car salesmen. Anyhow now that TTATT is out it's a done deal their glory years are over thanks to the abundant information that's out there on WT history.
